GoHorseShow would like to give a shout out to Non Pro Carli Stewart and her two mares, Sheza Home Wrecker and Sheza Good Girl on winning five firsts, and one second in seven classes at the Reichert Celebration!
“I train all my own horses, and I aspire to have such success like that of Jay Starnes and Angie Rigdon before they gave up their amateur cards,” Carli Stewart of Whitesboro, Texas told GoHorseShow.
Carli showed Sheza Good Girl to a win in the 10,000 and Under 2 Year-Old Non Pro Western Pleasure Stakes Class.
Her other mount, Sheza Home Wrecker and Stewart, won all of their classes except the open non pro maturity where they placed second. This five year-old mare is by Hot Impulse and out of Roses Bonanza. Carli bought her from one of her best friends, Cyndi Compton, right after the 2010 World Show. This duo started this year off at the Prairie Classic show in Oklahoma City in February where they were the SBB Green Pleasure unanimous champions. This team was also the circuit champions in the Amateur Western Pleasure at the Redbud Spectacular in June.
“After I finished qualifying her in the Amateur Western Pleasure, I gave her all of July off and then began getting ready for the Reichert Celebration in August,” Carli says. “She is by far the best horse I have ever owned, and I couldn’t be more proud of all her accomplishments thus far.”
