A brand new Tennessee Quarter Horse show circuit was held this past weekend at the Roane State Expo Center in Harriman, Tennessee. The TQHA Circuit held September 15th through the 18th is taking the place of the Holiday Circuit that was always held in December at Harriman.
“There was an all inclusive fee, which was $250 and it covered your stall, entry fees (unlimited per horse) drug fees, office fees, and trail/jump fees,” amateur Jessie Hadlock told GoHorseShow.
The judges for this circuit were Wayne Holt, Charlene Carter, Sissy Anderson, John Ed Tabb, Dan Trein, and Mike Carter.
“These dates call for warmer weather and will hopefully lead to more people attending,” Hadlock said. “But with this being a new horse show, it just needs more publicity so people can hear about the friendly southern atmosphere and great prizes–including Harris work pads, Good Ride shirts, ball caps, and necklaces, and goody bags full of items.”
These prizes were circuit awards, and denim jackets were given as all around awards. Here’s a list of the all around winners:
Novice Youth- Jasmine Fowler
Youth 14-18 – Jasmine Fowler
Novice Am.- Lucinda Bruner
Amateur- Jessie Hadlock
Select- Philane Fisher
Senior- Michelle Rakestraw
