The 2011 AQHA World Championship Show begins November 5. Based on exhibitor feedback of the preliminary AQHA World Championship Show schedule, AQHA has made a few minor tweaks to better accommodate exhibitors and work with existing events on dates surrounding the show.
AQHA World Show Schedule Change
“With a show the size of the World Show, it’s impossible to build a schedule that makes everyone happy,” said Tom Persechino, AQHA executive director of competition. “That said, we appreciate exhibitor input and want to work with as many people as possible to make the event the best it can be. We know people are working harder in order to enjoy their horse showing activities and want to consider that, as well as other factors, when building the World Show schedule.”
The primary changes made to the schedule include grouping amateur halter classes to the opening weekend; moving junior and senior barrel racing and pole bending preliminaries to the Performance Arena on Saturday morning, November 5; and moving amateur performance halter stallions to Thursday, November 10, to coincide with other amateur performance halter classes.
