WAHNA WIN Shines In Tulsa

Tulsa, OK, July 16, 2011 – WAHNA WIN customers earned 26 National Championships, 24 Reserve National Championships and 69 Top Ten placings in every imaginable discipline in Tulsa, OK at the 64th Appaloosa National Horse, Show July 4th, through July 16th. (And those are just the customers that we know of!)

WAHNA WIN Complete Coat Care shined in win pictures from Western Pleasure to Hunter Under Saddle and everything in between. Youth, Non-Pro, 35 and Over, Masters and the Open divisions all represented Appaloosas that had that unmistakable healthy coat with a brilliant shine that is the signature of WAHNA WIN Complete Coat Care users.

Ted Turner, Terry Sartain, Sean Schembri, JT Mitchell, and Brett Larsen, all WAHNA WIN users and fans, achieved success in the Open Halter division winning a total of 11 National and Reserve National titles combined out of 15 classes including taking home the Grand Champion Mare, Grand Champion Gelding and (just nudged out by a tie-breaker) to finish up with theReserve Grand Champion Stallion trophy as well.

Also noteworthy, Sean Schembri also had an effortless ride in the Open KSE Junior Western Pleasure Sweepstakes with “Sheza Charlie Chip” to take home the Reserve trophy. WAHNA WIN, unlike Show Sheen, has no silicone so riders get the full advantage of the show ring shiny, well-groomed look without the hazard of tack slipping or sliding.

In the Non Pro ranks, long-time WAHNA WIN devotee Brenda O’Neil, enjoyed a big win on “Hot In Hollywood” followed in third by a great ride by Barbara Wilke on a noticeably shiny “Sheza Charlie Chip”, both in the Non-Pro Masters Western Pleasure class. Elizabeth Christie won the National title in Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle on “Midnight Hunter” a stunning 17.1h jet black gelding that shimmered like gun metal in the ring.

Jenifer Schembri rode “Little Hunter” to a National win in the Open Three Year Old Snaffle Bit Hunter Under Saddle. There were plenty of top tens to go around as well, including a Reserve National title for Teresa Porter, showing her weanling filly “The Secret Dreamer”. David Beck of Lodi, CA racked up wins with his shiny WAHNA WIN conditioned stock to achieve the High Point Non-Pro Halter Competitor award. His winning entry in Non-Pro Aged Stallions, “The Secret Score”, is a perfect example of a dynamic healthy coat with a shine that can be seen from the back row of the stands.

Youth competitors also had their share of hugs and cheers. Most notable for WAHNA WIN is the dedicated Beck family, WAHNA WIN customers from the beginning who enjoyed countless victories. Abigail and Mary Louise were a real force to be reckoned with starting with Abigail’s Reserve National Championship in the Youth Hunt Seat Equitation 12 and Under on “Iza Flashy Hunter” on July 4th and the Beck girls’ streak continued for days until finally wrapping up the youth classes with a Reserve National Championship for Mary Louise in Youth Trail 13 -15 on “One Chip Shy”. There were at least 15 wins or top tens along the way as we had trouble keeping count. Great job girls!
