At the 2011 AjPHA Youth World Championship Show that is being held right now in Fort Worth, the youth are showcasing their talent in 73 world-title classes in a full array of disciplines. The Association received over 1,284 class entries, and World Championship titles have already been awarded in a full range of classes: walk-trot, halter, showmanship, and English performance classes.
This event is way more than a horse show. Before the start of the show, they held a Youth Boot Camp and the AjPHA Year-End Awards Banquet recognized the top youth competitors for their 2010 year-end achievements at the AjPHA Year-End Banquet. Paint For A Day Youth Open All-Breed Show was held on Saturday, June 25. All breeds of horses were welcome, and each entrant received a free AjPHA membership. There was a Youth Team Tournament, Boot Scramble, Golf cart decorating contest, and a Youth Party with a live band.
