Don Bell to Produce New Congress Bronze Trophy

GoHorseShow.com is excited to announce that Don Bell,
GoHorseShow.com’s Director of Sales since March, 2009, has been commissioned to
design and produce the new bronze trophy for the 45th annual All-American
Quarter Horse Congress.
Unfortunately, this vast responsibility means Bell will no longer be
able to continue his responsibilities as Director of Sales for GoHorseShow.com
and will leave the team at the end of the year.

Bell was instrumental in growing GoHorseShow.com’s
advertising business and is largely responsible for helping increase sales and
making GoHorseShow.com what it is today.
“GoHorseShow.com is a revolutionary concept that is single-handedly
changing equine advertising as we know it,” said Bell.

“I am very excited by this new opportunity with the
Congress, but the decision to leave GoHorseShow wasn’t easy. I have been proud to be a member of the
GoHorseShow team for almost two years and I have enjoyed being a part of
its incredible growth. But, at the end of the day, my passion is in western art
and the opportunity to re-design and produce the new Congress bronze is a
chance of a lifetime that I could not pass up,” said Bell. “Additionally, this will allow me to
pursue my love of art in all mediums and give me the opportunity to continue to
expand my art business, Don Bell Cowboy Images.”

Bell is perfectly suited for this new role. He has as been the official artist for both
the AQHA and APHA World Championship shows, as well as the NRHA Futurity, and
worked extensively with renowned sculptress Marrita McMillian. The Congress trophy will be of similar
size to the C.R. Morrison bronze, which stands about seven inches tall. “My
sculpture will be a more modern depiction of the Quarter Horse, the kind of
horse we see today standing Grand Champion Stallion,” Bell remarked. Bell is
certainly familiar with what today’s Grand Champion Stallion should look like. He is a 7-time AQHA World Champion and
multiple All-American Quarter Horse Congress winner, and trained and showed the
2005 Grand Champion Stallion at the Congress.

Bell will remain in place in a transition role through the
end of the year and will continue to use GoHorseShow.com to promote his art
business. “I remain firm in my beliefs that GoHorseShow is the best
advertising value within the equine community and I fully intend to continue to
advertise Don Bell Cowboy Images with GoHorseShow.com and its digital magazine,
GoMag. Even throughout my time as Director of Sales, GoHorseShow.com was
instrumental in helping me grow my art business and I have no intention of
changing that.”

Bell added, “I am sincerely grateful to
GoHorseShow’s wonderful group of advertisers and would like to thank each
and every one of you for your loyal business. I can assure you that the transition will be seamless and
you will be in great hands in the future.”

GoHorseShow.com wishes
Bell, his wife Joetta, and their young daughter, Trinity, the very best as they
set out on this new venture. “This is just the closing of one chapter and the
beginning of a new one for GoHorseShow.com and me,” Bell remarked. “I am very
excited for both of our futures and am honored to have been a part of the team.”
