Tuesday, November 9, would have been the 70th birthday of
legendary horseman, Jerry Wells. Winner of 60 AQHA World
Championships and countless other awards, Jerry’s impact on the horse
industry in the halter, performance and racing segments is unsurpassed.
Jerry’s wife, Betty remembers her late husband fondly on
this special day. “Today is Jerry’s birthday and it seems like
yesterday we were celebrating his 60th at the World Show. Today he would
have been 70. Oh how I miss those great times at the World Show. I know
he is at peace today.”
