Kaplow Insurance Official Insurer of the Congress

Kaplow Insurance Agency is excited to team up with Catlin Insurance Company to become the Corporate Sponsor and official insurer of the Quarter Horse Congress and the Congress Super Sale.

Ever since Evan Kaplow founded Kaplow Insurance, he has been involved with the Congress, and it has been a natural progression to become a Corporate Sponsor of this massive event.

“The Congress is one of the most important if not the most important horse shows of the year. The quality of competition cannot be surpassed at any horse show,” says Evan Kaplow, the President of Kaplow Insurance Agency. “There are events for every discipline from Cutting, Reining, to Hunter Jumpers, pleasure and halter horses.”

They will be offering fall of the hammer coverage on all horses purchased, but, Kaplow and his agents will be able to immediately upgrade coverage to full mortality coverage which includes their unique guaranteed renewal endorsement for a rate of 3.0%. (*limitations apply, see below)

The Congress is also a venue where horses are bought and sold privately. Evan will be available to his clients 24/7 for any insurance coverage they made need. In addition to horses being sold, the horses placing well at the Congress often require increased insurance coverage. Kaplow makes it a priority to know how his clientele’s horse are doing and to follow up and to see if they need to change their current coverage.

For the past few years, Kaplow has built an office in the Gilligan Barn–right in the middle of the action.

“People don’t have to go far to find me. The office is a nice place to have. I can see and meet people getting ready to show,” Kaplow said. “It is located right near all the veterinarians, so, I can pick up any forms that are needed for coverage. If anyone should need a place to talk or relax, the door is always open.”

This year the company has taken it one step further by opening an office on Stallion avenue, located next to the doors leading to the overhang practice area, across from the Crown Royal Bar. This office will have a place to conduct business, relax and also fax/copy.

“We will try to have an agent available at all times in this office. If anyone should need a fax or copy during the horse show, please do not hesitate to come by the office,” Kaplow said. “You can come by and use our facilities at no charge at any time.”

**The Kaplow Insurance “Difference”

Kaplow Insurance has an exclusive product that is only available through their agency. They have the ability to insure a horse with a guaranteed renewal endorsement that is good through the age of 15. When other companies exclude problems at renewal, they DO NOT. Their coverage stays with the animal under the mortality coverage, NO EXCLUSIONS, no matter the problem, condition or value of the animal through the age of 15. AND, no vet checks are needed at renewal, no matter the VALUE. The best any other insurer will do is an additional 12 months of coverage and after that, there is no more coverage available. If you then loss your horse, you have no coverage. They have a competitive advantage because they can offer more comprehensive coverage at a better price.
