Gold, Silver and Bronze – The Hamm sisters take all colors at the 2010 Ford Youth World

There’s one family driving back to Phoenix, Arizona, with a truck full of trophies – gold, silver and bronze.

On Saturday, July 31, Monica Hamm, 13, placed third in the 2-year-old mares at the 2010 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show.
But the Ford Youth World wasn’t over for Monica. She and sister Kaylee,
9, returned to the Jim Norick Arena at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City
on August 1 for a showdown in aged geldings.

In 2009, Monica and RPL My Te Cheerful, aka “Henry,” won the aged geldings at the Ford Youth World,
but for 2010, she passed Henry’s lead shank off to younger sister
Kaylee, and Monica showed 2005 sorrel gelding A Kid By Design.
