AQHYA Winning Run: Aged Mares

It’s
Morgan Brehm’s last year of youth eligibility – next year she heads to
the amateur ranks. She was hoping for a good showing at the 2010 Built
Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show. She was glad to finish third
in performance halter geldings with Only Pretentious and fourth in
3-year-old geldings with Imprintation, but on August 1 she took gold in
the aged mares with Shez One Classy Kid; they also won the title in
2009. “It’s a great way to go out,” she told the
Journal later
in her winning run interview. It’s not over yet for Morgan, she has
western pleasure and hunter under saddle yet to go, but
this was the one” she “really wanted.”
