GoBills is a new feature in the back of GoMag
dedicated entirely to show bills. Listed
chronologically for ease of use, this is the best way for you to find show
bills to many shows throughout the country, big or small. You can easily access GoBills by clicking on the bright green tab on the upper right hand side of the magazine labeled “GoBills”
The May cover of GoMag features Brooke Turner of Boulder, Colorado. It’s hard not to notice the 5 foot, 4 inch brunette, mostly
because of her boisterous voice and spitfire personality. Brooke grew
up with horses most of her life. She showed as a youth in open, 4H, and
some AQHA shows. “Getting back into horses was always a goal of mine, I’m
just tickled that my career has allowed me to pursue my passion,” says
Brooke. She works as a sales rep in the snow sports business which allows
her to have summers off. “It’s really nice to be able to do something I love
all year round, I’m very lucky.”
When it came time to step up her showing, Brooke called on Tom and Leslie Lange. “I have admired their
program since I was a youth and I knew, it would be a good fit,” Brooke
explains. Tom and Leslie have been working with Brooke and her 2006
gelding, Lets Be Somebody, for a year. She is focused on the Novice
Amateur Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, and the Showmanship for the Congress.
“Dexter,” has had a great year with Brooke. Also watch for Kara Huntsberger showing him
in the Green Hunter Under Saddle, and Leslie showing in the Junior Hunter Under
Saddle.
