Ted Turner of Thackerville, OK has more World Championships to his name than any other trainer in the horse show industry. That’s an honor that might just live on forever as Ted continues to thrive in the halter arena. With a plethora of World and Congress titles being added to his resume again in 2009, it’s hard to argue about the recipient of this very deserving award. But being crowned the best of 2009 isn’t necessarily all about winning (although it helps). Ted continues to exhibit not only fine horses, but a superb level of professionalism with unmatched attention to detail. He operates his business with integrity and consistently works hands-on as hard as anyone in the business. All of this after just having overcome a bout with cancer makes Ted Turner the Best Halter Trainer of 2009.
