AQHA World Champion: On Record

At the All American Quarter Horse Congress in October, the Kaplow Family of Chappaqua, New York, purchased a gelding two days before the Masters hunt under saddle class on the recommendation of Jason Martin and Charlie Cole. The family’s new horse, Quality Art, promptly won the Masters class, and Susan Kaplow said afterward that she had learned from breeding horses like On Record and Broker Of Record that Jason and Charlie are always right. When the Kaplows needed a catch rider for On Record in senior hunter hack at the AQHA World Championship Show, they asked Jason to climb aboard. After a winning ride, Jason and Susan joined the Journal for a championship interview.
