From the moment junior western pleasure started at the AQHA World Championship Show, exhibitors and horses were asked to stretch themselves. Every gait was extended, and each gait lasted several rounds of the arena. It was a true test of a pleasure horse’s stamina and true ability. In the end, a couple of familiar faces were on top again. Gil Galyean and Cool Krymsun Lady proved their win in the 2-year-old class two years ago wasn’t a fluke. Outside the arena, Gil was happy to tell the Journal about “Annie” and the bond he has with her.
