AQHA World Champion: Amateur Yearling Mares

Rita Crundwell showed her homebred filly, I Execute Class, aka “Classy,” to the win in amateur yearling mares on Thursday, November 12, at the 2009 AQHA World Championship Show. It was Rita’s last of three halter classes for the day: She also won reserve in amateur weanling mares with Call Me Acoolest and placed fourth in yearling stallions with Im Sacreds Touchdown. The filly’s not done with her world championship aims – AQHA Professional Horseman Buddy Laney of Cherryville, North Carolina, will show Classy in the open yearling mares class on Saturday, November 21.
