According to Webster’s College Dictionary, a stemwinder is a rousing speech. After being a bridesmaid for most of his AQHA World Championship Show appearances, Heza Stemwinder gave the judges something to cheer about. In 2007, “Stemwinder” placed third in open and amateur weanlings. In 2008, he was third in open and amateur yearlings. This year, owner Dr. Gigi Wood Davis’ faith was repaid when he was first under three judges and second under two in amateur 2-year-old stallions. After the win, Gigi was ready to give her own stemwinder about her horse.
