On the morning of November 13, Meghan O’Malley approached her trainer, AQHA Professional Horseman Lainie DeBoer and said she had an offering for Cracky, the good-luck charm in Lainie’s barn. Meghan had only been with Lainie for a few months and thought she had better sweeten her luck with the ceramic squirrel before she went in for the amateur hunter hack finals with A Chanceof Blueskies. So she gave Cracky some plastic walnuts, The offering was accepted and Cracky spread some of his good luck onto Meghan, winning her first world championship title.
