The 2009 Reichert Yearling Stakes Sale, held August 15, was another successful sale for Russ Smith, Whitesboro, Texas, consignor of Flash of Sudden. Of the ten horses where Russ acted as the agent, Flash of Sudden was his top seller bringing $50,000. Although there are many considerations that go into creating a top selling yearling, this year Russ tried feeding his yearlings a new diet called Revolution™.
