The Redbud Spectacular in Oklahoma City proved yet again to be the site of big and super deep classes and gave a glimpse of upcoming World Show competition which will be held at the same location. The new facilities are as good as anywhere in the country and the weather was about as nice as anyone could ask for which is not very common in Oklahoma City in June.
The annual Friday night progressive party featured delicious catered food, beverages and a fun atmosphere which was a welcome break during a show that showcases some of the very best exhibitors and horses in the country.
Unfortunately for some, this year’s show will be remembered by rampant theft as many vehicles were broken into in the parking lot (including our own Troy Compton’s). This can possibly be off-set by one good samaritan who found a diamond Hannah necklace worth over $10,000 and turned it in to lost and found.
