The two-year-old stallion did the unthinkable at the Congress. On Friday night, with Beth Case aboard, he won Masters Hunter Under Saddle and then repeated Saturday afternoon in the Junior. Great, right? He wasn’t done yet. The next class after the Junior was the Amateur Hunter Under Saddle and “Bruno” won that handily as well with Sharnai Thompson to complete the trifecta. Incredibily, Hot Ones Only is the only horse to sweep all three classes in history and the only two-year-old to win both the Junior and Amateur Hunter Under Saddle. Considering most two-year-olds struggle to make one trip at the Congress, let alone win three in an 18-hour timeframe, the sweep was simply remarkable.
