2008 AQHYA World Show Qualifiers Numbers Are Up In Many Classes

AQHA lowered the qualifying points for the 2008 AQHYA World Show, and in addition, states are now allowed to send four qualifiers instead of two. Not suprisingly, the number of qualifiers rose dramatically with a total increase of 642 from 2007.

The class with the largest increase is Performance Geldings which saw a total of 146 more horses qualify in 2008 compared to the previous year. Reining and Ranch Sorting also saw significant increases over 2007.

All but three classes saw an increase in qualifiers – Yearling Geldings, Aged Geldings and Working Cow Horse.   See entire class list.
