UPDATE from Gentry Cherry: You can get me down for a bit, but I can promise you, I’m gettin right back up. What a crazy, scary week it’s been. I can tell you I have the best friends, family and boyfriend in the entire world. Thank you all for the endless amount of love and support. You all know who you are, and I can’t tell you how thankful I am for each and everyone of you. Thanks everyone for the calls and texts. I’m headed home and doing just fine.
GoHorseShow is happy to report that youth exhibitor, Gentry Cherry is awake and recovering well after surgery to repair a torn aorta. On Saturday, Cherry was in a farm-related accident where she was severely injured.
“She’s out of surgery and in good spirits,” Gentry’s mother, Molly Cherry, stated on her Facebook page. “The surgeon said it went well. Thank you all for your powerful prayers.”
