Allocate Your Assets and Circle S Ranch Welcome New Team Member

Equi-Stat Leading Hunter Under Saddle sire, Allocate Your Assets along with owner Kathy Tobin and Jim and Deanna Searles would like to welcome Mo (Maureen) West to the Allocate Your Assets Breeding Program and the Circle S Ranch family. Mo brings over 30 years of experience in the AQHA show industry as a youth and amateur to her new position located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“She will be joining the team as an assistant breeding manager and also an assistant trainer along side associate Chris Holbin. We are very excited for the 2016 season,” says Jim Searles. “Also, we have limited AYA’s breedings available since he is only breeding 50 mares this year. It’s already over halfway full and it’s still December!”

West, a former senior English high school teacher, says her life adventures led her to be able to pursue her dream of training and working with horses as a second career. She now is a member of AQHA’s Professional Horsemen’s Association and has participated in shows all over Canada and the United States. An avid traveler, Mo has explored several remote parts of the world in various countries. She enjoys fishing, golfing and writing in her spare time. Mo has also written articles for GoHorseShow.

When this opportunity came available, I was honored and thrilled to accept the position,” Mo told us. “Associate Trainer, Chris Holbin is from Michigan and from my years of living in Canada and showing in Michigan, we seem to speak the same language and have similar concepts on riding and training, although I have a lot to learn.”

West spent three days interviewing on the ranch. “It was almost instantly a perfect fit. Jim and Deanna have an efficient and productive program; everyone working on the Ranch is very complimentary of each other. I could not be more excited.”

moWest adds, “I want to thank so many people for helping me achieve my equine dreams: my first riding instructors Marianne and Tom Ramey of Ontario, Canada, Robyn Storey and Rick Fleetwood for putting up with me as an amateur, Shane Pope and Mr. Johnny Pope from Conway, South Carolina who shaped my training techniques and David and Cheryl Busick from Pleasanton, California who have given me the opportunity to shine. I am so excited for new year and what the future may bring!”

We would like to congratulate Mo West on her new position. Please click here for more information about breeding to Allocate Your Assets.
