Congratulations to Alyssa Hinchman on Engagement

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Alyssa Hinchman of Cypress, Texas on her engagement to Chase Turner. Hinchman is an amateur competitor who shows on the AQHA show circuit with her horse, Impulsive Lite, under the guidance Terry Cross and Stephen Stephens of Dry Creek Ranch. Alyssa tells us how her now fiance proposed.

“I planned a family outing with Chase’s family and my family to Santa’s Wonderland–an outdoor Christmas light display in College Station that I had never been to,” Hinchman states. “We met for dinner, went on the hayride, and walked around Santa’s town window shopping. It was just a fun family evening. As we were waking out into the parking lot to go home, Chase nudged me over and then I saw the lights and the will you marry me sign. I turned around and there he was down on one knee. Of course, I said yes! By standers cheered and sent us their photographs. Our families all shared congratulatory hugs and toasts. It was a perfect proposal. I am still on cloud nine. I’m excited to see what our future holds.”
The couple met last year around Thanksgiving time on a night out at dinner with friends. Turner was home on leave around the holidays before he deployed to Afghanistan on his final deployment as a Marine.

We wish this couple the best of luck in their future together!
