Members of the equestrian community involved in any discipline, from dressage and hunter/jumpers to polo and Western, are welcome to sign up for an audition and show off their non-horsey talent. A pair of celebrity judges will be on hand to critique the performances, and the audience’s applause will determine who moves forward to the March 15 season finale and who goes back to the barn.
American Equestrians Got Talent is the third annual East Coast fundraiser to benefit USEF High Performance Dressage programs through the USET Foundation. The March 15 finale will be held at the Global Dressage Festival show grounds and feature the most popular contestants from the auditions. They will square off for the title of America’s Most Talented Equestrian and the grand prize, valued at no less than $5,000.
As an added bonus each Wednesday evening, a prize of $500 sponsored by PSdressage.com will be awarded to the top performer. Sign up now for the Jan. 7 auditions by contacting Robert Dover ([email protected]).
Spectators are welcome to watch the auditions and cheer on their favorites. The Grille is donating 15 percent of proceeds from the bar and all tips from the outdoor bar as well as $10 per meal that guests order ahead from a special menu.
