From Mike Shaffer’s friend, Laurie Scott:
Our friend, and long time horseman and master farrier, Mike Shaffer has been diagnosed with stage 3 multiple myeloma, bone marrow cancer. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and his road to recovery will be a long one. I feel blessed to have Mike and Traci in my life and I want to do something to help them now. Mike did not have medical insurance and this auction is one way we can help him with the bills his treatments will bring. All proceeds will go to Mike’s account that is set up for his medical expenses.
On Saturday, I will post an album of auction items on Saturday morning around 7am PST. Click on the photo on the item you are interested in, and comment to bid. If you have questions please send me or the donor a Facebook message. I will notify winners via Facebook.
Payment for winning bids can be made to Mike and Traci’s PayPal account, which is [email protected]. If you prefer, a check for the winning bid made out to the “Friends of Mike Shaffer Charity” account can be sent to Laurie Scott. Once payment has been received the winning item will be sent and I will forward the checks to Mike and Traci. Payment for shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and should be arranged directly with the donor, unless otherwise specified in the item description.
