Joe Jeane Named Ranch and Stallion Manager at Rodrock Ranches

Darol Rodrock, owner of the great stallions Certain
Potential, Only In The Moonlite, Huntin For Chocolate and A Scenic Impulse, has
hired Joe Jeane to be the Ranch and Stallion Manager at his beautiful facility, Rodrock Ranches in
Bucyrus, Kansas.

“Darol and I have known each other and been friends for a
long, long time,” Jeane told GoHorseShow.com. “When Darol called about trying to do something, he reminded
me that he had once tried to hire me but I told him I would never live north of
the Red River. Well, we got it
done so that’s going to change now. The only thing I’m concerned about is the weather.  I’m a good ‘ole southern boy and I don’t know about all that cold weather!”

Joe and his wife Suzy, an AQHA and NSBA judge, have been involved in the careers of
some of the very best AQHA stallions in history. For the past ten years, they owned and operated Down The
Rail Performance Prospects in Valley View, Texas where they stood Zips Chocolate
Chip, Radical Rodder, Dress Western and many other notable studs. Previously, they were an integral part
of the Perry’s breeding operation, the home of the late, great Zippo Pine Bar.

Jeane will preside over one of the most picturesque and
state-of-the-art facilities in the country. According to Jeane, “They are adding a breeding lab and
collection area as we speak and we will be able to do it all…ship semen, embryo
transfers, freeze semen, you name it.”

With Certain Potential, Only In The Moonlite, Huntin For
Chocolate and A Scenic Impulse standing in Kansas, Rodrock Ranch will be home to a vast array of stud
power unequaled in today’s market.
“Suzy and I have always surrounded ourselves with good horses and that’s
definitely going to continue,” Jeane said. “I really believe in this group and we are ready to get
started.”

He’s not heading north without the great Zips Chocolate Chip.  “Chip gets to go with me to Kansas,” Jeane said with a smile. “I would never leave my buddy.”

Rodrock Ranch is located just 30 miles south of Kansas City.
