Breeders’ Futurity mare nomination discounts for a limited time
For the second year, a Breeders’ Futurity “Open Enrollment” time period will be offered for mares that produced Breeders’ Trust-eligible foals in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Instead of the $1,000 Breeders’ Futurity mare nomination fee, you can pay a $400 nomination fee (per foal per year) from January 1, 2012, to May 10, 2012. Nomination of the mare in turn makes the foal for that specified year eligible to be shown in the Breeders’ Futurity classes. The mare nomination fee will go back up to $1,000 on May 11, 2012. Keep in mind that the appropriate Breeders’ Futurity payments must also be paid for the year(s) you actually show.
