If you are interested in how your scores or placing are calculated, how judges are professionally trained, or how to perfect areas before you enter your next American Quarter Horse show, then this judging seminar on March 19-21, is for you.
AQHA is hosting an educational judging seminar and ring steward seminar, March 19-22, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Irving, Texas.
Throughout the ring steward and scribe seminar on March 22, learn how to assemble classes and handle other ring steward responsibilities like mediating between judges and exhibitors. You will also have the opportunity to scribe “scored” classes during the seminar, so you are confident when working your next event.
AQHA judging and ring steward seminars are open to current AQHA members who are AQHA-approved judges, potential judge candidates and exhibitors wishing to learn more about how American Quarter Horses are judged at approved shows.
There are three attendance options, and you may want to consider attending both seminars so you can better understand the penalties and maneuver scores associated with each class held at AQHA shows.
- Judging seminar, March 19-21: $350
- Ring steward one-day seminar, March 22: $150
- Attend both seminars: $450
