The Missouri Quarter Horse Association has announced that Yukon, Oklahoma-based professional horsewoman Jackie Krshka will serve as the Show Coordinator for its 2012 Gateway Classic Horse Show. The Gateway Classic Horse Show, formerly known as the Boystown Gateway Classic Horse Show, is slated for May 10-13, 2012 at the state of the art National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
Krshka, who also coordinates the Red Bud and the Prairie Classic, says that she is “excited at the potential that the Gateway Classic Horse Show presents. It offers the unique opportunity to show to 6 quality judges over 4 days at a state of the art facility in the heart of the Midwest. We are expecting to have a great show in 2012, and to attract exhibitors from across the country.”
Judges for the 2012 Gateway Classic Horse Show include: Dawn Clason, David Dellin, Mike Hawkins, Kim Myers, Jim Searles, and Kelly McDowall.
According to Krshka, “an added benefit of the 2012 Gateway Classic Horse Show is the ability to lay over in St. Louis and then to hit the Gordyville shows in Illinois the following weekend. All in all, between our show and Gordyville, exhibitors can show to 10 judges in 11 days.” The MQHA also notes that the Gateway Classic Horse Show has been approved as a youth qualifying show by Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.
Ultimately, Krshka says that she expects “the Gateway Classic Horse Show to be a great experience for all who are involved,” and that she “would invite anyone who has not attended the show recently to contact me directly with any questions they might have.” Jackie Krshka can be reached at [email protected].
