On March 29, GoHorseShow.com brought you the story of the Priest family whose Ohio home burned to the ground.

The Ohio Amateur Quarter Horse Association has always placed an
emphasis on community service and has pledged to help the Priest family
of Van Wert, after losing their home and belongings to a fire on March 29th. OAQHA has planned two events to assist the family:
Clothing Drive at April Board Meeting
OAQHA will host a clothing and supply drive for the Priest family during
their April Board Meeting, scheduled for Monday, April 16th at the
Holiday Inn – Worthington. Clothing sizes are as follows:
– Kara Priest (mother) wears size 5/6 pants and adult medium shirts
– Erika Priest (18 year old daughter) wears size 6/7 pants and adult small shirts. Erika shows in Hunter Under Saddle events.
– Tyler Priest (16 year old son) wears size 34/34 pants, large shorts
and x-large shirts. Tyler is sports oriented and enjoys video games, and
is very close with his dog, an Australian Shepard.
– Reagan and Cassie (11 and 12 year old daughters) both wear size 14
slim girls pants or size 0 slim ladies pants and large youth or x-small
adult shirts. Both girls are involved in showing Barrel Racing.
50/50 Raffle
In addition to the clothing drive, OAQHA will host a 50/50 raffle at
their annual horse show, The Buckeye Classic, held May 11-13 at Eden
Park in Sunbury to benefit the Priest family.
