Mrs. Lea Kozlowski-Risso Passes Away

Mrs. Lea Kozlowski-Risso passed away at her home in Galt on June 26, 2012, with her family at her side. Lea was Born July 6, 1935 in Oakland, California and moved to the Galt area in 1963. She was an elementary school teacher for the Linden Unified School District

She was a member of St. Christophers Catholic Church in Galt. Lea was an avid horse lover. She owned the “Skylark Farms” horse ranch in Galt, and was proud of receiving the AQHA “Legacy Award” honoring 50 years of breeding American Quarter Horses.

Leolark, Jeffery Lark, Laredo Lark and Alisa Lark, the dam of the

Lea is survived by her husband, Gary Risso, son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Annalise Kozlowski, grand-daughters Jaimin and Ciara Kozlowski, and great Grandson Cole Berreth.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 2, 2012 , 10:00 am at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church. A viewing will be on Sunday July 1, 2012 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm and the Rosary will start at 6:00. Both at Ben Salas Funeral Home 149 4TH Street in Galt.
