Tax Relief
Did you know that, as a 501 c 3 charity, a donation to the NSBA Foundation can make an impact on your tax bill this spring?
When you donate to a charitable organization, you are allowed to take that donation as a deduction off your income taxes. It’s not a dollar-for dollar exchange, but if you know you are going to owe some income taxes, it’s a great way to offset that.
In order for this to affect your 2012 taxes return, you have to donate before the end of the year.
In addition to providing tax relief, your donation could help a trainer in crisis through a donation to the NSBA Foundation Crisis Fund, impact the future of an NSBA youth through a donation to the NSBA Foundation Scholarship Fund, help promote the humane treatment of equines through a donation to the NSBA Foundation Animal Welfare Fund, honor the sacrifice of a disabled veteran through a donation to the NSBA Foundation Veteran’s programs: Heroes On Horses and Parade of Heroes, and/or support a rider with disabilities’ participation in the NSBA independent and supported RWD classes.
