FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU Western head coach Kindel Walter announced the signing of Sarah Ann Pendergraft Thursday afternoon. “I am very excited to add Sarah Ann to our Horsemanship team,” said Walter. “She has a lot of experience riding and showing horses throughout the years. I believe her talent and ambition will help strengthen our team. We cannot wait to get her into a Horned Frog uniform.”
Pendergraft, who hails from Fayetteville, Ark., will don the Purple and White next fall after claiming the 2012 Reserve Congress Championship in 15-18 Trail. She also placed in the top-10 at the Ford Youth World in both Western Riding and Western Pleasure, respectively. Pendergraft, who has claimed AQHYA Year End top-10 finishes in Horsemanship, Pleasure and Western Riding, has also garnered top-10 performances at Congress numerous times during her young career, including bringing home a Reserve Congress title in Western Riding in 2008.
The Fayetteville High School graduate was a member of the 2012 Youth World Cup squad and AQHYA Sentinel, while also being a regional director.
