The 2013 Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show will feature fun activities for exhibitors throughout the show August 2-10 in Oklahoma City.
Attendees can look forward to new socials at this year’s Ford Youth World. Exhibitors, friends and family are invited to the pep rally social on August 2 in the Sales Pavilion. Attendees will enjoy free food, entertainment by magician William Rader, plus the chance to meet new people.
The pin exchange and snow cone social is August 5 in Barn 3. Come cool off, meet exhibitors from around the world and exchange pins with other AQHYA members.
Again this year, AQHA Professional Horsemen will teach free Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics. These free clinics give exhibitors and spectators the perfect opportunity to learn how AQHA Professional Horsemen would approach a class or pattern. This year’s clinics feature events such as western riding, horsemanship, showmanship, western pleasure, hunt seat equitation, hunter under saddle, and working cow horse.
Other fun events include a judging contest, horse trivia bowl, speech contest, college fair and much more! A tentative schedule of all Ford Youth World events can be found at www.aqha.com/youthworld.
