The NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity was once again held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event ran from August 13-18, 2013 and saw continued growth from 2012. With 500 more entries than 2012, this year was the largest and most successful NSBA World Championship Show to date!
The NSBA Kaplow Insurance Breeders Championship Futurity Yearling Sale saw major success in its first year, with 68 yearlings sold. The high selling horse was Steppedout Of Dream, a chestnut filly by A Dream Remembered and out of AGR Lucys Lucky Too (by Jacks Are Lucky Too). Steppedout Of Dream was consigned by Randy Alderson and sold for $31,000 to Starland Ranch.
Sale graduates from the inaugural sale will be eligible for an additional purse of $65,200 at the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity.
