Congress Champion Invitemeforchocolate Sells to Morgan Brehm

Congress Champion and two-time AQHA Reserve World Champion Invitemeforchocolate (Shaggy) has sold to the Brehm Family of Lincoln, Nebraska. Last year, Emily Neiberger of Argyle, Texas showed the Invitation Only gelding in the Youth 15-18 events.

Amateur Morgan Brehm is a multiple AQHA World Champion in the halter events. Last year, Morgan won her first world championship as an amateur with her family’s yearling colt, Kayotic. Besides the halter, Morgan has also shown successfully in the performance events including the western pleasure and horsemanship on several different horses.

“I’m very excited for Morgan and her family!” Emily told GoHorseShow about selling her horse. “Shaggy is such a great horse and I wish them the best of luck.”

Past owner, Lauren Love is also excited to see this new team. “Morgan has such a great attitude and she is such a hard worker, so I know she and Shaggy will make a great team together. He is such an amazing horse and loves to show, so I’m so happy to see him go on to another great home.”

Love and Shaggy were 2012 NSBA World Champions, Reserve Congress Champions and Reserve World Champions in Amateur Horsemanship; 2011 Congress Champions and Reserve World Champions in Amateur Horsemanship, and Shaggy’s trainer, Robin Frid, also placed third in Junior Western Riding at the 2011 AQHA World Show.

“Jenny and I are so excited for Morgan and her future with this one-of-a-kind horse,” Frid states. “When she came to try him out, they fit together well; I knew they would be an outstanding match.”

Morgan will be showing Invitemeforchocolate in the Novice and Amateur Western Riding, Novice and Amateur Trail, and Amateur Horsemanship. Her trainer, Robin Frid, will also continue to show him in the Senior Trail and Western Riding.  (Morgan pictured here with her mother, Debby)
