All American Youth Show Holds First Ever EWD Classes

At the All American Youth Show in Columbus, Ohio that was held May 15-18th, the show held their first ever Equestrian with Disabilities classes (EWD). It was a huge success with 14 riders showing in assisted and unassisted horsemanship classes.

“With a large number of exhibitors watching and cheering them on, it was a huge hit,” says Troy Holton, who helped organize the event this year. “We already have two more organizations that are coming for next year. It was inspiring and awesome to be able to offer this to the kids, not only for them but all the other kids found it very cool to have these kids here showing as well.”

Holton says that a vendor is going to donate All American Youth Horse Show Jackets to all the EWD riders next year. The show also plans on adding showmanship and western pleasure to the EWD classes.
