Like a lot of Level 1 exhibitors, Barb Bugos of Carriere, Mississippi, arrived in Jackson, Mississippi, with the goal of qualifying for the 2014 AQHA Level 1 (Novice) Championships. On June 7, Barb competed in her single class with her best dancing partner, Wish An Image, at the Merial AQHA Region Nine Championship.
“I’ve been showing for about 15 years,” Barb said. “Right now, showmanship is all I do. I used to do trail and pleasure but right now just showmanship. It’s my favorite class in the entire world. It’s competition and dancing with my horse.”
