Sheffield, Iowa – The World Conformation Horse Association will offer new WCHA Owner-Breeder-Exhibitor (OBE) conformation halter classes to be held in conjunction with the AQHA Novice Championships in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Las Vegas, Nevada.
“We are pleased to announce that WCHA & AQHA have joined together to make these classes possible,” said Tim Finkenbinder, World Conformation Horse Association President. “Much time and effort has been spent by both WCHA and AQHA to help grow and improve our industry, and we think the Owner Breeder is a significant contributor to the growth of the industry and the Breed Registry’s success, worthy of significant recognition.”
Five classes offered will be; Owner-Breeder-Exhibitor Weanling Colts/Geldings, Weanling Fillies, and Yearling Colts, Yearling Fillies, and Yearling Geldings. Any offspring by 2014 WCHA Futurity Enrolled AQHA Stallions will be eligible to show. These classes are open to any exhibitor that has bred and raised their own and are not limited to a Novice exhibitor.
“We look forward to these new classes and are proud to be an Alliance Partner with the American Quarter Horse Association. WCHA thanks AQHA for recognizing the importance of the Owner-Breeder in the industry and allowing WCHA to host these classes at the West & East Novice Championships,” said Finkenbinder.
