[Claremore, Ok] – The Glover Galyean Partnership (Jim and Debbie Glover, and Wes and Kristen Galyean) is thrilled to announce the acquisition of one of the most decorated Western pleasure horses in the industry, Waffle House. This remarkable mare, a multiple AQHA World, NSBA World and Congress Champion, has captured the attention and admiration of equestrian enthusiasts everywhere.
The decision to purchase Waffle House stemmed from a desire to find a special horse for the Galyean family’s daughters, Gracelyn and Aislynn. The partnership aims to not only enjoy showing Waffle House, but also to breed her to the esteemed stallion VS Phantom Code, as well as other VS stallions from the recent VS Dispersal Sale.
“From the very first time I saw Waffle House when Katy Jo showed her as a maiden, and she won The Madness, I knew she was something special,” said Kristen Galyean, a representative of the Glover Galyean Partnership. “I reached out immediately to inquire about her availability and have been persistent ever since. Waffle House possesses that elusive ‘IT’ factor, with an undeniable presence that sets her apart. Her natural poise, relaxed head and neck, forward ears, and graceful self-carriage are qualities that remind me of the legendary Vital Signs Are Good. To me, Waffle House epitomizes what a great pleasure horse should be – she truly enjoys her job, and that’s what drew me to her.”

I can assure you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the aisle at the Congress when the sale was finalized. I will forever cherish that memory, too.”
