As many of you know, Jessi Lueth was involved in a serious accident at a horse show in July 2023, where a young horse lost its balance and fell on her, breaking nearly all the ribs on her left side and her pelvis in four places. Jessi was lucky to land in the hands of some of the best doctors at Mayo Clinic, where she underwent two major surgeries. Since then, she has exceeded everyone’s expectations in her recovery, and the doctors now expect that she will be cleared to ride again on January 1.
Luckily, Jessi has great insurance that has covered all of her (large) medical bills. Her injuries have left her unable to work, however, and without an income until she is able to ride again.
Many people in the equine community know (or know of) Jessi, who has been training and showing APHA, AQHA, and NSBA horses for years. For those of you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Jessi, five minutes with her will have you smiling and feeling like you’ve known her for years. She is one of the hardest working, most caring people I have ever met (inside or outside the horse industry), and deserves our support now.
All money raised will go directly to Jessi to help offset her living expenses until she is back up and running. Thank you all! Any little bit of help would go a long way, and prayers are appreciated.
