The Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships is one of two pinnacle events for Level 1, Rookie and walk-trot competitors around the world. The other AQHA Level 1 Championships include the AQHA West Level 1 Championships.

The East Level 1 Championships offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen and the AQHA Level 1 Championships Educational Series.
The show features Level 1 classes and Rookie classes. AQHA walk-trot classes are also part of the lineup. Walk-trot classes are the perfect way for eligible exhibitors to get in the arena and gain experience, which goes hand-in-hand with the purpose of the Level 1 Championships. These levels of AQHA competition are designed for the minimally accomplished to beginner AQHA competitors.
