The Texas Classic is back! Now named The Classic, TQHA wanted to bring back the greatness of the show from years ago. The show was held September 1-5 in Fort Worth, Texas. The judges for the show were Eric Hubbard, Kelly Chapman, Valerie Kearns, Judd Paul, Brent Maxwell, and Jon Barry.
“We were so excited to have The Classic back in Fort Worth,” says Carey Nowacek, who was also kind enough to make candids for us at the show. “It was a great success. There were awesome prizes, and I think everyone had a great time. I can’t wait to do it again next year.”
Laina Banks was responsible for the incredible group of sponsors, including GoHorseShow, who sponsored the exhibitor’s dinner Friday night. A buckle was given in T. Joe Jean’s name to the Level 3 Youth Trail circuit winner, along with a $500 scholarship, $500 for the L2 Youth Trail circuit champion, and $300 for the L1 Youth Trail circuit champion. There was also a buckle given to the Small Fry All-Around.
