New Classes Added to Paint World Show

Ride a punchy Paint? It’s time to saddle up and start getting ready for September! A slew of new ranch horse classes are now on the books for the 2018 APHA World Championship Show, which takes place September 17–30 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

All-around exhibitors can get in on new classes, too, as new longe line divisions, performance halter and aged sweepstakes will debut at the show as well. In all, more than $800,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded at the World Show.

All classes listed below require standard World Show qualification in order to enter.

Qualification rules changed for 2018; horses must compete in two APHA-approved shows during the qualifying period to participate—the qualifying period is June 1, 2017 – June 4, 2018—or pay a per-show qualifying fee. Learn more about current qualification rules here.
