Luke Guynn
Alan Hinds
Lilly Atkinson
Kamiah McGrath
Jessica McAllister
Mallory Vroegh
Caleb Sturgeon
Teri Dawn Haws
Mattie Dukes
Natalia DeVencenty
GoHorseShow talked to a few of the competitors named to the team about how they feel about representing their country.
“I think in the heart of every competitor there is a yearning/dream to represent the United States of America in a World Cup or Olympic setting,” Natalia DeVencenty states. “To actually get the honor to compete for your country is surreal. I feel very blessed to be given the opportunity.”
Mallory Vroegh echoes Natalia’s comments. “I’m so incredibly excited for the experience; meeting people from other countries, being surrounded by people who love what we do as much as I do. I think it’s going to be a great learning experience and hopefully, I’ll walk out with some new lifelong friends. It’ll be really fun working in a team atmosphere since you don’t get to do that a lot in the horse world. I’ve already had a lot of interaction with my teammates and I’m looking forward to getting to know them even more.”
Kamiah McGrath adds, ”I am so excited to be a part and represent Team USA. I think it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will change my life. Being able to build friendships with the other nine members on the team and also the many people from across the world. June can not come fast enough.”
GoHorseShow congratulates the ten youth members who made the team. We know your parents and trainers are proud of this impressive achievement.
