Congress Super Sale Features Top Prospects from The Best Martini & Makin Me Willy Wild

"The quality of yearlings being offered this year at the Congress Super Sale is just about the best I’ve ever seen," said Debbi Trubee, who has several entries by her stallions.

Debbi Trubee of North Farm located in North Lawrence, OH, has several prospects by stallions she stands in the Congress Super Sale and encourages everyone to attend to check out the horses offered at the sale.

“A Makin Me Willy Wild won the Congress 2YO Stakes class last year, which is tied into the sale. I think it won close to $7,000,” says Trubee. “It was such a thrill to see one we sold stand in the winner’s circle. It was the first year for Makin Me Willy Wild’s first full crop to show and to have a Congress Champion in the Western Pleasure Sales Stakes was a dream come true.”

Dun Makin Me Wild was last year’s winner with RJ King in the saddle. There is also a Limited rider bonus in the Open Western Pleasure Sales Stakes, which this horse won also with King presenting.

This year, Trubee mentions two highlight listings by Makin Me Willy Wild and The Best Martini that are featured in the sale – Makin News & Good Baby Martinis.

Makin News – Hip #12, Sired by Makin Me Willy Wild and out of multiple World Champion producer, Chex So Good. Pinky is wicked legged. This filly has all the makings of a great 2yr old. She’s very mature, both mentally and physically and is just a natural in all gears. Paid up in NSBA BCF/SIF, Super Sires and Premier Sires.

Good Baby Martinis – Hip #16, Sired by The Best Martini and out of Good Baby Hotrod. Texas is a talented gelding with a stunning look that will catch the eye of the judges. His dam, Good Baby Hotrod is a 2x World Champion and 4x Reserve World Champion producer. Texas sticks at 15H and strings to 16H so he will have the size to be an amateur or youth all-around with the mind to get him there.
