Equine Industry Icon Betsy Tuckey Passes

Our sincere thoughts and prayers to the friends and family of Betsy Tuckey.

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we share with you the passing of Betsy Tuckey. She took her place in paradise on September 30th after fighting a difficult 11-month battle with stage 4 bladder cancer. Her memory and legacy in this industry will last for many generations to come. Betsy had five judging cards including AQHA, NSBA, APHA, NRHA and NRCHA with her longest standing card being held for 30 years. As a judge she saw many phases of growth and change. Her impact on the horse industry as a judge, trainer, and breeder can be seen far and wide through the numerous people who have shared stories of Betsy during their time spent with her. She was a role model and mentor for many new judges and cheerleader for all of the clients and exhibitors that she worked with. Her bubbly personality and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone that she met and her knowledge of horses, movement and breeding was incredible. Her joyful heart is missed dearly.
