Congratulations to Shannon Vroegh & Brent Walker on Nuptials

Congratulations to Shannon Vroegh and Brent Walker who were married this past weekend in Des Moines, Iowa. “I can’t believe it came and is over so fast,” Shannon told us. “It was hot, but an absolutely perfect day.”

The ceremony was held at Assumption Catholic Church in Granger, Iowa and was followed by a reception at the Embassy Club Downtown in Des Moines. Both of their daughters, Mallory Vroegh and Lily Walker, stood up with them, along with their best friends, Hannah Lind and James Tesdall.

“My favorite part of the day was probably how much fun we had!” Shannon shared. “There was not a minute during the day where we weren’t laughing, having fun and enjoying our friends. After being together for six years, you worry about things changing or getting dull, but not with Brent, there’s never a dull moment. He makes life more interesting every day.”

Shannon continues, “We both travel so much for work; we had to do our own thing, and hope it all came together at the end. He picked out the venue and the DJ, and I picked out the flowers and the cake. When it all came together, it was absolutely beautiful. He surprised me with a limo that seated 25, so our closest friends and family got to come with us and celebrate between the church and the reception. It felt like it was the perfect topper on the life we have been trying to build together. I couldn’t be luckier to have found Brent to share it with.”

Brent told us, “I just want to add that I can’t thank the horse show community enough for being so kind and welcoming to me. I had no idea what I was in for when I came to my first show. I just knew I loved her and wanted to give her my support. Since the moment I stepped foot on a show grounds, every person I’ve met has been genuine, kind, and sincere.“

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate this new couple on their wedding and wish them the best of luck in their new life together.
