Ann Woodruff Purchases Multiple AQHA World Champion Dunit On The Range

Ann is under the guidance of Clint Ainsworth, both to debut at the NSBA World Show.

Ann Woodruff of Round Meadow Ranch is now celebrating her time to be in the show pen after years of cheering on her daughter Lillian. She is exceptionally thrilled to debut her latest pairing with multiple AQHA World Champion Dunit On The Range (Roscoe). Ann is under the guidance of Clint Ainsworth and both she and Ainsworth knew this was an incredible match and opportunity.

Dunit On The Range, a 2008 gelding, is known in the industry as one of the greatest western riders of all time, and is a multiple AQHA World Champion, Congress Champion and AQHA Reserve World Champion.

“Western Riding and Trail require incredible talent and I’ve always admired the skill it takes to achieve success in these events,” said Ann. “They are my favorite and to welcome a horse as talented as Roscoe to our family is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Ann’s Round Meadow Ranch is no stranger to a talented string of horses, the latest of which include Goodbar Had A Dream, Sleepinwithmybootson and Gametime Sensation. Most recently, under the guidance of Adam and Pasley Mathis, Ann earned a Western Pleasure Championship at the Tom Powers with Made After Hours.

“Ann is going to have the time of her life with Roscoe,” his former owner, Jane Humes told us. “He is a once-in-a-lifetime horse.”

Jane Humes’ trainer, Blake Weis couldn’t be happier to see him go to a program that is so well matched as Clint’s. “Roscoe is one-of-a-kind, and he loves to do his job,” said Blake. “Ann and Clint are really going to enjoy Roscoe. He is a pure gentleman, as good as they come, and always happy to see you.”

Clint also shared his thoughts. “Blake has been one of my closest friends for many years and I’ve known Roscoe nearly as well for almost as long,” said Clint. “He is one of my all-time favorites and I think a perfect partner for Ann.”

The new team plans to make its debut at the NSBA World Show in August. Ann will be showing in the Novice Amateur Trail and Western Riding, Clint will be showing in the Western Riding, and Blake will be showing in the Senior Trail. Ann will also be showing Goodbar Had A Dream and Made After Hours.

We wish them the best of luck and look forward to seeing this new team in the show arena soon.
